AMAZING DEBUT

Over the September 24 & 25, 2011 weekend is FELTasticFashion's debut to the Nova Scotians

at Muir Murray Winery Estate's 2nd Annual Iron Chef Competition event

Amazing experience to meet so many people & promote WOOL creations!

Many people were attracted by my signature "Wool Felt Heart-shaped Bib Necklace
even before I made any introduction! I am really pleased to hear so many great compliments!

In addition, the "Wool Fashion Comeback" article (short version) is NOW up
on the current Sept. 22 - Oct. 6, 2011 issue of The Grapevine community paper.
A long version of the article with more details about wool & felting technique
is posted on my blog earlier on 2011/09/03.

With all of these appearances, just after 3 days, the ranking of the Wool Look with the "Wool Felt Heart-shaped Bib Necklace" has jumped from TOP 17 to TOP 12 out of 1000+ looks worldwide!

It's been such an amazing experience throughout!
Thank you all of you & keep share the link & vote!

CAKES SOLD!!!

The Mango Cheesecake jewelry box
is finally landed on my cousin's hands during our meet in NYC last week.
This also explained why I weren't able to post any new felted creations on my blog over the week.
I will guarantee I will post lots of photos in the next few days!

The NYC trip was quite a success!
It was fun to search for fresh ideas & shop for interesting materials from the fashion land.
I found many uncommon materials that I can incorporate into my upcoming felted creations!
Stay tuned!

What a coincidence!
The same evening after I sent out the Mango Cheesecake to my cousin. I received an order from Hong Kong for another Mango Cheesecake plus the Mint Chocolate Cake via my ETSY shop!
Once I returned home, I immediately jumped back into my felting corner!
The package is now being shipped & I am looking forward to hear positive feedback!

LITTLE LAMBS...LITTLE CAKE SHOP

On May 7, 2011 morning at Gaspereau Valley Fibres Yarn Yard Sales

My first little CAKE shop to showcase my newly felted creations!

Yes! I've been dreaming to open a bigger CAKE shop with a glass-covered counter top to showcase all the yummy "patisseries" I've created - just like those in the real pastry shop!

In fact, I just decide to be part of the 16th Annual Craft & Food Fair presented by
the Horton Music Parents Association at Horton High School in Greenwich, NS
on October 15, 2011 (9am - 4pm).
There will be over 160 tables featuring a large variety of crafters and artisans from around Nova Scotia.
Horton music students will be performing throughout the day.

I'm very excited & I can't wait to meet the people & other crafters & artisans!
I think I should start to build up my CAKE inventory now & prepare for this great handicraft event!
