Conductive material woven into the tips of the gloves

allows touchscreen devices to work whilst wearing gloves.

I apply the felting applique technique to Personalize It.

HAMSTER 2D - 3D

A mommy friend from Hong Kong send me a snapshot of her son's favorite stuffed animal.

Ta-da! A Hamster 3D charm is felted by needle felting technique.

I hope her little boy will LOVE IT & TREASURE IT!

FELTED CAKE WORKSHOP

This is Ivy. She's my cousin & my student.

It was her first try with needle felting & she did an excellent job!

Each strawberry roughly took her 20 minutes.

Each blueberry took about 5 minutes.

The cantaloupe took about 10 minutes.

Applique Needle Felting technique was applied to mark "Happy Birthday" on the eco-felt.

It was a great DIY project to customize your special cake keepsake.

Maybe I should prepare more of these DIY cake set too!

My son is asking for more hamburger again!

Last August for his 6 years old birthday,

I made him a MAGIC BURGER KEEPSAKE & he loved it so much!

Since then, he has kept all his tiny treasure in his keepsake.

I'm so happy that my goal was reach!

"Felt It. Love It. Treasure It."

This time, I needle felt a hamburger charm with my son's initial.

What a perfect accessory for his summer camp backpack!

FELTasticCharm can be a unique charm for so many things

ie. bag charm, key charm, rear mirror car charm, door knob charm, pincushion 

& even Christmas ornament & baby mobile (just because it's so colorful to look at!)

They are soft to touch too, but still cannot be treated as a toy for age 3 or younger though.

This time, the inspiration is coming from the Twilly - 

a silk scarf that I picked up from my last Paris trip.

I love the fact that the Twilly always comes in a beautiful & vibrant colorway.

So, I needle felt a matching owl charm with similar color combination.

At the back of the charm, I also needle felt my own "H" last name initial too!

I am sure that I will create another charm with my first name initial "C" as well!

JS37 DSLR

Happy Birthday to my love!

Just hours before Father's Day & 1.5 days before his birthday, he upgraded his DSLR.

While I was wondering what to custom felt for his birthday gift, an idea popped into my head.

SONY DSLR is his favorite brand & the symbolic color combo is Orange/Black/White.

So, I started working on this JS37 DSLR jingle ball (actually on our way home after shopping!)

This JS37 DSLR jingle ball will work great to make the little models smile for sure.

Plus, this will be a great piece to treasure & remind what he got for his 37th birthday! Ha!
