It speeds up the needle felting 100x faster! (IMO)

Now the old sweater is hiding inside as the core of the big orange wool pumpkin!

is definitely the time to sign his/her name or put on the monogram on the finished piece!

I'm no exception!

Comparing the two wool needle felted pumpkins. Which one you like more?

Time flies when I held my little girl whose just started to walk through the pumpkin patch & also when I first discovered felting craft from the Annapolis Valley.

 

Four years later, I'm making wool pumpkins to mark another harvest

& thanksgiving time of the year!

MY PRINCESS IS THREE !!!

My princess just turned 3 !

Last year, I needle felted a birthday cake keepsake that we can store all her photo CDs.

This year, I love to needle felt some accessories as she's all into princess & ballerina now!

A week before her birthday, I asked her what she likes to have.

She was very excited & replied, "I want a princess crown...and a kitty too!"

Ta-da!

  

I needle felt the princess crown with the neon pink Merino wool & crystal headband

& 

a Kitty with the pearl look-a-like stretchable headband/necklace/bracelet/waistband  

The glitter ballerina sticker paper doll was picked up earlier in Opera Garnier, Paris 

My mom also custom tailored the pink Thai silk princess bubble dress

Although I am not really interested into baking, 
I decided to bake & decorate a matching birthday cake for my princess.

 

No doubt, she will be my princess forever!

How could a ballet dancer without carry a pretty dance bag ?!

My mom is visiting me in Nova Scotia at the moment.

Well, she was helping me to look after my lovely kids during my previous trip to Paris.

She bought some beautiful & very sparkle fabric over too.
Here, she created a few fancy dance bags!

This sparkle black backpack is attached with the FELTasticDance brooch I needle felted earlier.

This shiny pink is so adorable & just like a pretty dress by itself!

WOOL + WINE

This weekend FELTasticFashion will be at the 1st Annual Christmas Craft Spectacular

2-day Craft & Wine event organized by Muir Murray Winery Estate, Wolfville, NS

I have been thinking & working a few new wool creations since the last craft event.

Something that's related to WOOL + WINE is what I have in mind of course.

With several tests & trials, I came up a few new designs that I haven't seen any on the market yet!

(or maybe there is a niche market out there but I didn't know. Free feel to drop any feedback!)

WHAT IS IT?

 2-in-1 Wine Glass Charm/Coaster

(or some people will call it Wine Glass Sleeve or Wine Glass Tag or Wine Glass Marker)

It is a wine glass charm that I needle felt with colored wool roving.

It also acts as a coaster to protect the glass as well as the furniture.

Or with certain design, it acts as both -  like a glove for the wine glass .

I have also done a TEST with the wool about its STAIN-RESISTANT character!
Result is positive!

I pour dark soy sauce right on a bright yellow wool felt coaster & leave for a minute.
Then, I just simply wash it under running water 
& after I get my bright yellow stain-free wool coaster again!
So amazing!
