MONTHLY WORKSHOP @HOBBY LOBBY

FELTING Workshop at HOBBY LOBBY in Greenville, SC

every 3rd Friday & Saturdays of the month

 

Beginning 2014, Cecilia Ho is now based in Upstate SC & continues to promote felting, an ancient eco-friendly handicraft. Her designs are centered around fashion, cake & pâtisserie, as well as whimsical theme. Throughout the years, she has offered felting demonstrations and workshops at Art Festivals, Craft Fairs, Farmers’ Markets, Yarn Shops, as well as to elementary school kids. She especially enjoys family and friends bonding activities through felting DIY projects. Cecilia has also designed educational felting DIY kits which are suitable for all level of felters, allowing them to practice their felting techniques. Everyone can freely add his/her own personality into each creation to make it a conversation piece.

2D Appliqué Needle Felting

Join Cecilia Ho to learn 2D appliqué needle felting technique. After checking out work samples after 9am/11am workshop begins, we will do a quick shopping trip together at Hobby Lobby for your own choice of base material (ie cotton tote / apron / T-shirt). Then, you will learn how to felt & decorate your own eco-friendly yet functional piece! Have fun and enjoy painting with the amazing wool fibers!

Workshop fees will include the use of felting needle, foam, wool (~10g)

* Due to the availability of various sizes/colors, please prepare to purchase your choice of base material during workshop shopping time (9:05-9:15am or 11:05-11:15am), after reviewing some samples at classroom.

ETSY CRAFT PARTY JUNE 2014

We are so excited to join our first ETSY Craft Party this year in South Carolina.

With the theme: RECAPTURE, we spent 2-hr Wool Painting time recapturing NS memory.

We are glad to meet up fellow South Carolina ETSY Team members & many other crafters!

 The picture of the Peggy's Cove Lighthouse in Nova Scotia was taken in July 2013.

My 8YR son was also working on his 2D Applique Felting during the party too!

It was a great family & friend bonding activity!  

It was our first visiting the Taylors Mill, currently the home of 18 working studios.

Open Studio 2014 every first Friday of the month, 6-9pm! Looking to re-visit soon!
